Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
-
A personalised photo-wrapped pet urn is a custom cremation vessel wrapped in high-resolution graphics, photographs, and text supplied by the pet owner. Each urn is handcrafted in Australia to celebrate the unique life of a dog, cat, or other companion animal.
-
Pet urn sizing is based on your pet’s healthy weight prior to cremation. The general industry standard in Australia is 1 kg of pet weight = approx. 35 to 40 ml of urn capacity (or roughly 1 kg to 0.04 litres).
To ensure you choose the right fit, here is a general guide:
Small: Holds up to 0.549 Litres (Suitable for pets weighing between 1 - 9 Kgs — e.g., cats, Chihuahuas, Cavoodles)
Medium: Holds up to 1.546 Litres (Suitable for pets weighing 10 - 24 Kgs — e.g., Staffies, Kelpies, Border Collies)
Large: Holds up to 3.168 Litres (Suitable for large breeds weighing between 25 - 100 Kgs — e.g., Labradors, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds)
Tip: If your pet's weight sits right on the boundary between two sizes, we always recommend choosing the larger size to ensure there is comfortable space for all ashes and any small personal keepsakes (such as a lock of fur or collar tag).
